Privacy & account access
Privacy policy
Effective October 27, 2026
ClipperAgent is operated by Colby Jenny. Contact colbywjenny@gmail.com with privacy questions or deletion requests. This policy describes the privately operated ClipperAgent dashboard and this public information site.
Information processed
- Google authorization: OAuth access and refresh tokens, granted permissions, connected YouTube channel identifiers and names. Google handles sign-in; ClipperAgent does not collect your Google password.
- Video and account data: source links, supplied/downloaded footage, transcripts, sampled frames, edits, titles, hashtags, upload identifiers, posting history, settings and available YouTube views, likes, comments counts and publication/visibility metadata. Comment text is not collected by the performance-counter feature.
- Technical records: job status, API usage counters, failures and local backups. Cloudflare may process request information such as IP addresses, browser information and security/authentication cookies when providing hosting and access protection.
Why it is used
Data is used to connect selected channels, create and caption videos, schedule explicitly enabled publishing, prevent repeat uploads, report performance, operate discovery and diagnose failures. The app requests YouTube upload and read-only permissions for those features. Automatic publishing can upload without individual approval after you enable it and the app's checks pass.
Storage and retention
Account credentials, media, settings and the job database are stored on the operator's self-hosted server. Local code/database backups may also contain account-related records. Media and posting history remain until the operator deletes them; there is no general automatic media-deletion deadline. Routine performance and discovery observations are pruned after approximately 90 days when their collection jobs run. Some discovery metadata may remain longer. Disconnecting an account removes its saved authorization and channel metadata from the active installation, but does not automatically erase prior uploads, media, metrics, history or backup copies.
AI and other service providers
When AI features run, transcripts, sampled video frames, source titles, contextual metadata and selected performance associations may be sent to OpenAI to propose editing, framing, captions and titles or evaluate a rendered clip. Saved Google OAuth credentials are not included in those AI prompts. Processing is configured as API inference, not model fine-tuning; ClipperAgent does not train a general-purpose model on connected-account data. OpenAI's own API processing and retention terms apply.
Google/YouTube receives authorization and API requests, uploaded videos and their metadata. Twitch may provide discovery metadata and available original source footage. Cloudflare hosts these public pages and provides the dashboard tunnel and access controls. ClipperAgent does not sell personal data or use connected YouTube data for advertising. Data is not shared with other third parties except as needed to operate these features, at your direction, or where legally required.
YouTube API data and Limited Use
ClipperAgent uses YouTube API Services. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See also the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
Disconnect, revoke access or request deletion
- Pause automatic posting/importing in the dashboard when you want processing to stop. An action already in progress may finish.
- Remove an account through Connected accounts to delete its authorization from the active app. Alternatively, revoke ClipperAgent access in Google account connections.
- To delete retained local media, transcripts, account-linked history, metrics or backup copies, email the operator and identify the relevant channel or data. These requests require manual handling; revoking Google access alone does not erase local records.
- Deleting local records does not remove videos already published to YouTube. Manage those videos through YouTube Studio.
Security and scope
The operational dashboard uses access controls and HTTPS through Cloudflare. The public information pages do not expose the account dashboard or its stored credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. ClipperAgent is intended for authorized use by the operator and invited users, not as an unrestricted public account-management service.
Policy updates
Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Contact the operator about material changes to processing or retention.
